Details

The High Country wallet carries a full mountain scene across its outside. On the front, a bull moose steps through tall grass below a line of pines and a ridge of peaks. Turn it over and a single lodgepole pine rises the full height of the back panel, with the lake and treeline running behind it.

Every line is drawn by hand, then cut with a swivel knife and shaped with stamping tools so the moose, the grass and the mountains sit at different depths. The tooled leather is finished in a warm saddle tan that darkens with handling.

Features

  • Hand-tooled genuine leather exterior with a carved moose and mountain scene
  • Black leather interior with card slots on both sides
  • Bifold layout
  • Saddle-stitched by hand with waxed thread

How it is made

The wallet is sewn with a traditional saddle stitch: two needles pass through every hole with waxed thread, so each stitch locks on its own. If a thread is ever worn or cut, the seam holds instead of unravelling the way a machine stitch would.

Care is simple: keep it dry, wipe it with a soft cloth, and condition it now and then. See the leather care guide for details.
